Morecambe have released 18 players following their relegation from the National League. The Shrimps were relegated to the National League North having finished 22nd in 2025-26, their second relegation in as many seasons. The released players include Terrell Agyemang, Jamal Blackman, Ma'kel Campbell, Raheem Conte, Harlee Dean, Joshua Eppiah, Ludwig Francillette, Kyle Jameson, Archie Mair, Admiral Muskwe, Joe Nuttall, Daniel Ogwuru, Harry Panayiotou, Mohammed Sangare, Alie Sesay, Yann Songo'o, George Thomas and Ben Tollitt. The club has opted to extend the contracts of Miguel Azeez, Lennon Dobson and Liam Hogan, while Adam Fairclough and Alfie Scales' contracts have been extended. The club has thanked the departing players for their efforts and professionalism during their time at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.
