Morecambe Football Club is recruiting a voluntary kit man to support its first-team operations. The role will involve assisting current Kit Manager Les with the preparation and organisation of all kit and equipment.

The volunteer will be responsible for ensuring players and staff have the required items on training and matchdays. This includes preparing kit for sessions and fixtures, organising dressing rooms, and assisting with laundry and equipment management. Full support and guidance will be provided, and previous football experience is welcomed but not essential.

The club says the position offers hands-on experience in a professional football environment, working closely with first-team staff and players. It may also lead to future opportunities within the club if suitable positions become available.

Interested applicants should contact Chief Operating Officer Steve Dewsnip via email. Suitable candidates will then be introduced to Les to discuss the role in more detail.

The opportunity comes as the first team sits 10th in the National League - North table with 13 points from nine games. They face a tough test next, travelling to second-placed Oxford City on Saturday.
